Assad + Adelynn, a Magical New Mexico Wedding

On the most gorgeous April afternoon, long-time lovers Adelynn and Assad were married in front of all of their friends and family members. These sweethearts’ love for one another left us in absolute awe, we are truly beyond inspired by it all!

Long before becoming husband and wife, Assad and Adelynn were undergraduate students at the University of New Mexico who were both in search of lasting friendships, unforgettable college moments, and (of course) the best food around campus. After meeting through mutual acquaintances, these hunnies quickly became best friends and shared some of their most memorable UNM times together. However, they finally faced the ultimate moment of truth right before Adelynn left for her foreign exchange: Assad and Adelynn realized that their connection was so much deeper than simply friendship. After Adelynn returned from Europe, these cuties took their bond to the next level and quickly fell in love. Almost six years later, Assad finally proposed at White Sands National Park in Southern New Mexico and Adelynn, of course, said yes.

Assad and Adelynn knew that they wanted to honor Assad’s heritage with traditional Shaadi and Nikkah wedding ceremonies, so these babes planned the most stunning little nuptial weekend. For their Nikkah ceremony, Adelynn wore heirlooms from Assad’s family (including the most stunning jewelry and gown) and had the most unreal bridal glam by our angels over at Something Ginger. After their dreamy little ceremony (just peep those photos of Assad and Adelynn through that curtain of flowers), we stole these two away for golden hour romantics around Albuquerque. True to their spontaneous, fun vibe, Assad and Adelynn closed off the night with a ton of dancing with all of their favorite people (including a dance choreographed by Assad himself).
