Nicole + Griffin, a Wildly Gorgeous La Posada de Santa Fe Wedding
We spent one of the most stellar spring days up in Santa Fe with western hunnies Nicole and Griffin for an unforgettable celebration. These soulmates tapped into all of the little things that make their love so special and curated one of the most gorgeous weddings of all time.
Babes Griffin and Nicole may have just officially tied the knot in Santa Fe this spring, but these angels’ love story goes way back to their college days. Both of these cuties were involved in Greek life during their time as undergrads at Texas Tech University (Nicole was in Alpha Phi and Griffin was in Sigma Alpha Epsilon) when they first crossed paths. During a joint trip to Panama City Beach, Florida with a number of their mutual friends, Nicole and Griffin truly hit it off and couldn’t deny their shared chemistry. However, the sparks didn’t fly until a whole year later when they found themselves on another huge spring break trip in New Orleans, Louisiana. The two once again grew close as they explored the many sights and sounds of The Big Easy, but when Nicole and her friends left early to stop in Houston, Griffin knew he had to follow his heart. So, naturally, Griffin and his friends showed up in Houston and he poured out his feelings to Nicole, leading these lovebirds to take their relationship to the next level. Flash forward about six years and Griffin took another leap of faith, this time it involved a diamond ring. He proposed to Nicole at her favorite spot in Fredericksburg, William Chris Vineyards, and she (of course) said yes.
Nicole and Griffin wanted to both lean into Nicole’s New Mexico roots and throw a bash that celebrated their shared love of their home,Texas, so they knew there was no better place to get hitched than Santa Fe. Using La Posada de Santa Fe as their backdrop and all of the magic of Just Lovely Weddings, these lovers created a larger than life day that was full of boho beauty, desert-inspired details, and romance. From their modern yet elegant style (just peep Nicole’s chic bridal style next to Griffin’s dapper tux) to out-of-this-world florals by Florecita Flowers to a mid-reception haircut (complete with an outfit and makeup change!!!), this day in The City Different was one for the ages. Seeing these cuties party the night away with all of their loved ones was truly the icing on the cake of this stunning affair.
